So this is what we are going to talk about today and they become has happily given us some time to talk about discuss and for listeners to ask great questions, which she will be happy to answer so welcome here again. They become I would love sorry, please. Yes. I said you can complete your introduction that I did. Sure. Sure. I just wanted to you know to give you a to start for you to start off just want you to know that.

Interviewer: Okay? What what what inspired you to know pain down your thoughts and come up with this fantastic book.
Devika: So what happened was that I have been an Avid Reader of human behavior and and psychology and philosophy from a very young age. I have been reading reading these subjects and it as the thought triggered thought of writing the Mind Game triggered in 2016 when I was in Delhi, and I used to read like if you see the newspapers, it is very disturbing to see that that students or people individuals between the age of 15 to 29 are committing suicide obviously and why I don’t understand why is counseling very why is considering counseling considered a taboo in India? That was like and why why is the need for counseling increasing in India? Because what happens is when when we meet with a physical accident or physical injury, we immediately go to the go to the doctor general physician for first aid, but when we feel low when we are experiencing bad moments in our life. Do we considered for that emotional state? Do we consider to go to to seek help of how to battle how to battle that low phase or how to get rid of that negative emotion. We don’t do that so that so this inspired me to pen down my thoughts on emotional intelligence how we can stay aware about what we are feeling currently and how it will help. Help people become a become a better individual if they take control of their Mental Health.
