Book Launch – Reminiscence: Calling all book lovers in Kochi

Hope you are enjoying the Kochi International Book Festival. I am excited to interact with the audience at the book launch of Reminiscence on 09 December 2017.

Book Launch Details

Date: 09 December 2017
Time: 1430 hrs IST
Venue: Ernakulathappan Grounds, Kochi

Reminiscence is my third publication, and it has helped me progress in my journey of book publishing. It is said, variety is the spice of life. Even this book follows the same approach. I have not conformed to a typical writing style but have experimented with freestyle poetry writing.

Reminiscence has featured in the book launch at New Delhi and Hyderabad, and now it is time to enlighten the audience at Kochi with my poems. I always prefer an open house discussion at my book launch events rather than a stereotypical format of Q&A.

The audience at Kochi is free to come up with their questions and I will be happy to answer their queries.

A Glimpse of Reminiscence

Few stanzas from two of my favorite poems in the Reminiscence:

  1. For Those At Kargil
There are so many more, so many of them
    Unsung heroes, those courageous men
I salute you all, who for our tomorrow
Have sacrificed your today, and left us in sorrow
  2.  The Blind Window
Yet, he saw something,I never did
the truth of love, to him was never hid
His heart was no blind window.

I would love to discuss about my journey as a published author along with giving some useful tips to budding authors and writers on how to start their book publishing journey. I would also emphasize on what qualities are nurtured by a successful author. It is not a One Man’s Show, you require the support of a complete team to be successful in this Digital Era.

Excited to meet the wonderful people at Kochi. See you on Saturday, 09 December 2017.
